Cortex Care

Cortex Care is a hair care line that focuses on nourishing your hair from its core. For this project, I created a sample kit for users who might not know the correct steps on how to get healthy hair so that the consumer can style it any way they want. The kit features a leave-in conditioner, hair oil, hair mask, and hair spray. Each sample can be bought individually so that any part of the kit can be rebought without rebuying the whole kit, or if a consumer wants to try one part of the kit, they can. Using a 3” tall wooden cylinder dowel with a radius of about 1.25” as a sample of the product that would go inside the package. The package is made out of paperboard and features a hanger tab and window so that the product can displayed easily in stores and consumers can view the product inside the packaging. The software I used to design this package was Esko’s ArtiosCAD and Adobe Illustrator.
