About me
Hi! My name is Emma! I am a skilled and innovative graphic designer and packaging designer from Pittsburgh, PA. I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) with a strong foundation in graphic design, I specialize in creating eye-catching branding and layouts, marketing materials, and digital graphics. My expertise in packaging design allows me to craft compelling and functional packages that not only protect products but also tell a brand’s story and enhance the customer experience. I believe that great design is not just about aesthetics but also about communication and functionality.
I have had the pleasure to work on various projects including work from my internships at the Pittsburgh Penguins and Tailored Marketing. During my time interning for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Tailored Marketing, I utilized my knowledge and skills in branding, layout, print design, advertising, and digital media to help companies with their visual identities through compelling design work.
My interests also play an important role in my school work, when given the freedom to choose my topic for certain projects. My love for musical theatre and figure skating transferred into the two clubs’ leadership roles during my time at RIT. The first club was RIT Players, a theatre club, as I acted as their social media manager for two years working with various teams to advertise performances and club announcements. I brought new ideas to enhance and engage their audience on social media and grew their following by 100%. The second club was an ice skating club I co-founded and served as vice president for called Brick City Blades (BCB), where we teach college students to ice skate. I was able to help grow an ice skating community on campus that will impact RIT for future generations.
